New Video - Victizzle ft. Eugy – I Dey Fine


MOBO Award-winning artist and producer Victizzle – real name Victor Akata – is bringing a unique sound to the Afrobeats scene in 2016. His renowned production collective London Boyz have already produced hits for the likes of Seyi Shay, Iyanya, Banky W and Wande Coal in recent months, while Victizzle has been working on his own solo material, which he is now ready to unleash on the world. The first of which is his brand new single titled ‘I Dey Fine’, which features fast-rising Ghanaian rapper Eugy, who is currently having a breakthrough year of his own, with his massive singles ‘Body’ and ‘Dance For Me’ featuring man of the moment, Mr. Eazi. Produced by his London Boyz collective, the single comes packed with an exciting music video to match, as premiered on Link Up TV. Speaking about the inspiration for ‘I Dey Fine’, Victizzle attests that, “the song was birthed out of frustration from past mistakes and experiences of putting my career in the hands of others and waiting on them to help me out, instead I decided to put things back into my own hands and chase my dream. It’s time to make my own dream come true without relying on other people”.

New Video - Mista Silva – Lifestyle


British Afrobeat star Mista Silva is set to release his debut album later this year, and today drops off “Lifestyle“, the first offering from the long-awaited project. Equally adept at rhyming in both English and mother tongue Twi, Silva has built up a worldwide reputation for exporting an Afrobeat flavour with an individual UK twist. Produced by frequent collaborator King Zion, their chemistry is evident on “Lifestyle“, a laid-back chiller sprinkled with elements of tropical pop; Mista Silva works his trademarked vocal and rhythmic delivery over pounding drums and a sharp, dancefloor-ready bassline to great effect. Speaking on the track and its unmistakable flavour, Silva told Complex: “‘Lifestyle‘ is what an individual makes of it: to live care-free of what the world may think, to believe in one’s style of life.” Watch the video below.

The Afro-Centric Liberian star, Augustus Cole JR, commonly known by his extensive fan base as “G-Rize”, is originally from Liberia, West Africa. He currently resides in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. While living in Liberia, specifically at the age of seven, G-Rize embraced the notion of realizing that music wasn’t just a part of his culture, but rather a driving force in his life. This driving force propelled him significantly as he soon began his journey as an artist. In 2003, he migrated to the United States of America in hopes of a brighter future as well as to pursue his musical career. It was soon after migrating, that he earned the stage name “G-Rize.

Buzzing Nigerian star Ayo Jay keeps his hit single “Your Number” on people’s request lines with a brand new remix, featuring Chris Brown and Kid Ink. It’s no surprise that Breezy and Ink get raunchy on the remix to the Afro-beat jam, proposing to do much more than take their new prospects on a dinner date. “Every time she see me, she start kissing and biting, f*cking and fighting / She want see a cocky man ting, she a ride it / Pulling me inside her / So I pull up / We butt naked under my covers with the lights off,” sings Brown on the opening verse.
